DESCRIPTION
Diwali Festival Amstelveen is being organized by Stichting Diwali Festival Amstelveen, being held yearly on the city square in Amstelveen since 2009.

Diwali Festival Amstelveen brings together peopel from the Indian diaspora from all over The Netherlands, but also brings together the local Dutch community. The entrance is always free of costs. With over more than 20.000 visitors throughout that one day, 9 restaurants and non-stop performers the Diwali Festival has grown to a very well known and very well established brand in the Indo-Dutch community.

Diwali Festival Amstelveen is strongly supported by a very consistent number (and still growing) numbers of sponsors. The board comes together each month to discuss the program of that year.

The role of InTouch is being an executive secretary to the chairman and an overall project manager to the board and was involved the whole year in as well the festival as the sponsor reception.
